Moncrief Fertility Preservation Program Exceeds Expectation

Last June, the Rutledge Foundation gave the initial funding for the Moncrief Cancer Institute/ Rutledge Foundation Fertility Preservation Program. A cancer diagnosis for a young adult, often brings with it the reality that if they survive, they may not be able to have children after treatment.

In the first three months of this groundbreaking program, there has been an overwhelming response from patients.  Thanks to the team at Moncrief and our generous donors, we are making the possibility of fertility preservation a reality for those in need. Because of the program’s success, we have given an additional $27,000 and are actively raising funding to continue this important work.
