Portland Marches Forth to Keep Sam’s Dream of a Cure Alive

In the wake of their grief of losing Sam in late August, the Sam Day community of Portland, Oregon gathered to celebrate his life at the Third Annual Sam Day Soiree on Sunday, October 16.

We are deeply moved by this beautiful group of friends and family, who raised over $150,000 for research to keep Sam’s dream of a cure for Ewing sarcoma alive. This selfless act by the Day community underscores the importance of finding a cure for this horrible disease. They honored Sam with their courage and we will continue to honor him with our work.

We are thankful to God for His beautiful gift of Sam Day and all of those we have lost in the last year.
