We are delighted to welcome Chris Kroeger, Anish Ray and Gary Ray to the Rutledge Foundation Board. We look forward to their unique contributions, as they each bring broad professional experience and community insight.

Chris Kroeger grew up in Houston, Texas and graduated in 1989 with a BBA and MBA from the University of Texas at Austin.  Chris moved to the Dallas-Fort Worth area to start a 25-year career with Sabre, a global travel technology company, where he held various senior sales, general management, and marketing positions, including four years as Chief Marketing Officer.  Chris now operates Chris Kroeger Consulting, LLC and is a partner in Social Venture Partners, an organization focused on helping non-profits drive greater impact in their communities. He is also an Adjunct Professor of Marketing at TCU. Chris lives in Keller, Texas with his wife Stacy and his teenage children Sage and Kysen.



Anish Ray grew up in Calcutta, India and graduated from Calcutta National Medical College, Kolkata, India, with a MBBS  in 1993. He attended medical school at Nassau University Medical Center, New York and graduated in 2009. He received Pediatric Hematology / Oncology fellowship training at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas and has been actively involved in Sarcoma research. He is currently serving as an attending physician at Cook Children’s Medical Center, in the Hematology/Oncology department as well as on on translational research projects at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth. Outside of work, he enjoys the company of books, music and his family that consists of his daughter Uma and wife Ayesha.



Gary Ray is the President of MODCO Energy Insurance & Risk Management, with over 30 years of oil and gas insurance industry experience.  Gary’s primary focus is in oil and gas commercial insurance sales, targeting medium to large accounts, and has developed numerous exclusive insurance programs for the oil and gas industry.  He founded the company in 2004 and has served as President since inception.  Before starting MODCO, Gary was a Senior Vice President at Wm. Rigg Co. from 2000 until 2004.  Previously he was a Named Partner and Senior Vice President at Burk, Luebbehusen, Ray & Company.  Gary has proven to be a leader not only at MODCO, but also in the community, serving as a Past Chairman of the Fort Worth Stock Show Syndicate and is a proud co-founder of the Tallest Hog At The Trough Syndicate.




As we welcome our new board members, we cannot neglect to thank two very special members who are rolling off of our Board, Carly Witilski and Keith Hamilton. Both Carly and Keith served selflessly for four years and we are deeply grateful for their generous support. They will be missed.
