This Spring, Rutledge Foundation launched its national campaign to increase survival rates of young adults with cancer. As survival rates have increased for pediatric and adult cancer populations, they have remained stagnant or decreased for most adolescents and young adults with cancer. The goal of Raise The Rate was for our supporters to raise their heart rates, while raising awareness, early detection of AYA cancers and funding for less toxic, more curative cancer therapies for adolescent and young adult patients.Although Raise The Rate events were held in April, Young Adult Cancer Awareness Month, we want our supporters to raise their heart rates year round and help us continue to raise awareness and funding for life changing research and care.
Thank you Mayor Price, our sponsors and supporters for helping us bring awareness and improved care to these deserving young patients.

In addition to Raise The Rate this Spring, Rutledge Foundation hosted Rutledge Day at the Rodeo, visited our lawmakers in Austin, presented at the UPS Healthcare Forum, welcomed three new Board members, hosted Young Adult Night at the Ranger Game and encouraged researchers in their work and patients in their journeys.
We could not do any of this without your support. You have made a difference, whether it was hosting a fundraising event, a Give Back, participating in Raise The Rate, volunteering or donating. You have helped us improve the lives of young patients battling cancer and we THANK YOU!! Help us keep up the good work!!
