Theresa Brillhart, a compassionate friend to all, an incredible volunteer, passionate advocate for children, mentor for young women, loving mother, Nana, and wife, went to be with her Lord and Savior on February 27, 2025, at age 73. She leaves a legacy of service and dedication to her family and friends, with unwavering positive spirit and steadfast faith in life with Jesus Christ.

Theresa Joy Brillhart was born May 13, 1951, to Cecil and Marie Lowrance in Fort Worth, Texas. She graduated from Arlington Heights High School in Ft. Worth and attended Texas Tech University where she met and married the love of her life, Randy Brillhart, in 1972. In high school and college, Theresa’s passion was baton twirling, where she achieved national titles.

Perryton, Texas, was home for many years for Theresa and Randy, where they raised their daughters, Tandra and Whitney. It was there that Theresa was honored with many civic and community service awards including Perryton’s Citizen of the Year, the Business and Professional Woman of the Year, Workhorse of the Year, and recognition for her role in the formation of Big Brothers & Big Sisters in the Perryton area. She was a dedicated promoter through the Chamber of Commerce, while working as Special Projects Coordinator for the Ochiltree County Attorney’s Office. She was instrumental in fund raising and awareness for Frank Phillips College in Perryton.

While continuing their connections with Perryton, Theresa and Randy have spent more time in Fort Worth in recent years to enjoy grandchildren’s activities. She cherished time cooking and entertaining for her family and countless friends. Always the energetic volunteer, Theresa became active in Ft. Worth Women’s Club, Cook Children’s Medical Center, supporter of the Rutledge Cancer Foundation and the Texas Ballet. She was an avid Mah Jongg player and a forever fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers.

‘Theresa B’ leaves a legacy of compassion, determination, and serves as an inspiration for enjoying life to the fullest through fun, loving friendships with people from every walk of life. She had a heart for everyone she met.
