We understand that being an adolescent or young adult (AYA) with cancer can feel isolating. It’s often hard to relate to family, friends, or even other cancer patients who aren’t experiencing the same challenges that come with this stage of life. That’s why we create meaningful events for cancer patients and survivors—specifically designed to help AYAs connect with peers who truly understand their journey and build a supportive community.
Our patient meetup events are designed to bring together those who can truly relate—offering a space to connect with others, share resources and similar experiences with patients who understand the everyday struggles cancer brings.
In line with our mission to support AYAs, our events are open to patients and survivors aged 13 to 39.
Our work wouldn’t be possible without the support from our dedicated volunteers. It’s a great way to give back, learn more about our mission and provide meaningful, direct support to our AYA patients.
Opportunities include helping stuff our Carley’s Closet bags, volunteering at our patient meet ups and fundraising events and other needs that come up throughout the year.
