Cindy is a native of Fort Worth and is a graduate of Texas A&M University. Cindy holds an MS in Nutrition and a BS in Food Science & Technology. She began her career as a Registered Dietitian and then transitioned to a career in medical and pharmaceutical sales leadership. Cindy retired from Novartis Pharmaceuticals, after 29 years, as a Vice President of Sales.
Cindy and her late husband, Shawn McLaughlin, have one son (Connor). The McLaughlin family has been inspired to be active with the Rutledge Cancer Foundation since the beginning, as their son and Carley Rutledge were friends.
Cindy enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling, and volunteering in the community through her church.
